Overview
When Chelsea football club started to plan their £1.5bn new stadium build they needed an office space and community area where staff and stakeholders could come together to work, plan and share ideas and feedback to bring to life the architect's vision for a world-class stadium and surrounding area.
A club with a deep history in Fulham since 1905 when the club was founded, this was the most ambitious redevelopment since its conception.
Solution
Creating an office space that had subtle ques to the history of the club and the iconic new stadium design by world class architect HERZOG & DE MEURON. The office overlooked the current stadium so we devised cleverly named meeting rooms the refelcted this, fun interactive communal spaces and used the view through the office windows over the site to give staff a indication of the scale of the club and project with renders and facts about the build. Iconography for wayfinding was also developed along with a community space for local residents to visit and get update about the project and share their views.
A number of peices of HR litereature we also created to be shared with new starters to ensure they were aware of the new office and local area as much as possible.
