for a global PR & social agency

We were approached by Good Relations to help them design and build their new website. In the midst of a repositioning and rebranding exercise, they required help bringing that brand to life digitally. Leaders in creating global campaigns across Europe and the US, we jumped at the chance to help them realise their vision.

Existing site analytics identified that users spent most time on the case studies and thought leadership pages as well as searching for information about the team, company values and career opportunities.

We set about creating a site map to allow users quick access to those key pages, as well as serving up related content on all pages that meant you could access other content with minimal clicks.

Once the site map was defined, we set about wireframing clickable prototypes that allowed us to iterate and define content for each page. That in turn formed a rigid brief that the Good Relations team could write to.

The visual identity was bold so we knew the site design had to mirror this with the added use of movement and interaction. Crafting the pages to show off their campaign images and always show users content types that they would be interested in to maximise time on site and drive enquires. A modular approach to each page and the content was created so it could easily be added to and updated as needed.

Coming from a bloated Word Press back end CMS on their previous site, we used Craft CMS which gave a much more user-friendly CMS user interface. With multiple users uploading and creating content at any one time, this gave them complete autonomy and version control.

Post launch, the site has been well received both internally and externally, with the rebrand featuring in PR week. The website is the result of a fantastic collaboration between two agencies, allowing us to flex our creative and technical muscles to enhance their visual identity and allowing the Good Relations team the freedom to produce great content and show off their awesome work and values.
