Seastate is a new men's swimmer label launched in 2021. Their values rooted in the nautical history of sailing and adventure. The meaning of Seastate is just that, the conditions of the sea. They required a logo and brand that reflected this and appealed to their audience which was 30-50 year old males, that would enjoy more a highly quailty, subtle design, refined swim short at a sensible price point.
After working closley with the team we identified their chosen creative territory and set about creating a logotype with subtle references to boat sails and a colour palette that reflected the deep blue of the ocean. A ship's wheel was also included to give the modern logotype a historic feel as a marque. From there the identity was carried it across labelling, POS, and a brochure website to show off the first collection to buyers across the world. We even created the print patterns on the shorts.
From summer 2021 the first drop of shorts is stocked in department stores all over the world. We are now working with SEASTATE to develop an e-commerce site and prints for SS22, which will be available in stores from March 2022.
