Building on from the first ever Wonkfest in 2017, the education policy specialists, Wonkhe needed a new identity for the 2 day event that would stand out and be a little more visually light hearted than other education events and conferences the delegates are used to.
We broke down the key themes of the event and set about creating a way to visually represent these in a fun and eye-catching way that would work across initial promotion and at the venue in large format. The final direction was an icon set that worked alongside a bright and engaging colour palette, paired with bold typography that worked to stand out in a sector that tends to play it safe visually.
The event was a great succes selling out to over 650 delegates in the just over a week. The event toook places at Ravensbourne University, London over 2 days and was a great success, getting into gritty topics such as student mental health, hearing from the education minister and lots of other topics. All supported by clear on brand visuals and event livery, that was bright engaging and light hearted.
